What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address. This is collected through our checkout provider, Stripe, at the point of purchase — we don't collect any personal information before then, and we don't use tracking or analytics cookies on this site. Your cart contents are stored only in your own browser, not sent to us until you check out.

Why we use it

Solely to fulfil your order: to take payment, arrange delivery, and send you your tracking number once your order is dispatched. We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or share your data with anyone beyond what's needed to deliver your order.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payment. We never see or store your card details ourselves.
• Our courier (APC Overnight), to deliver your order.
• Resend, our email provider, to send your dispatch/tracking email.

We do not share your personal details with eBay. RV Spares' product listings are read from eBay, but nothing about you or your order is ever sent back to it — the only thing we send eBay after a sale is an updated stock count, with no customer information attached.

How long we keep it

Once your order is complete, we anonymize your personal details (name, email, phone, delivery address) after 3 months — they're permanently removed from the order record. We keep the underlying transaction record itself (what was purchased, the amount, and the order status) for longer, as UK law requires businesses to retain financial records for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it sooner than our standard retention period, by calling us on 01452 856856.
